　　　　　　　　A summary of the application requirements for the year 2009.

Ⅰ．応募資格　Qualification for an Applicant

1)　他国籍を有し、日本の大学学部の在籍者及び入学許可を得ている者。
　　They should be non-Japanese in Japan who are enrolled as a regular student in an
　　undergraduate school, or those admitted to enter a Japanese University.

　
2)　平成21年度の募集は、継続受給者とし、新規の受付は医学部生に限定する。　

　　For the year 2009, applications shall be extended only to those who have already

　　enrolled as granted students in a university, and new applications will be accepted

　　only for the Medical students.

3)　日本滞在５年以内の者。
　　Applicants must be the person whose lengths of stay in Japan is less than 5 years.

4)　留学に耐えられる健康状態であること。
　　Applicants must have a good physical condition be able to study in Japan.　

5)　日本との国際理解と親善に関心を持ち、貢献を期する者。
　　Applicants should be interested in the promotion of mutual understanding and

　　friendship with Japan, and can be expected in their future contribution.

6)　日本語能力検定試験２級以上取得者、又は同等程度と認められる者。
　　Applicants must have at least the 2nd class mark in a Japanese certification
　　examination, and those with same level of ability.　　

7)　当財団が特に選定する者。
　　Grants recipient(s) who are especially selected by The Foundation.

Ⅱ．奨学金　Scholarship

　　１．奨学金の支給は次のとおりとする。Scholarship recipients will receive following grants.
　　　　大学学部生　　　・月額10万円 (前年実績)
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　・他の奨学金を受給していない者。ただし授業料の減免に関する金額は除く。
　　　　Undergraduates Level : 100,000yen per month (The previous year results)
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　・For those who do not receive other scholarships. However, the scholarship

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　about exemption of tuition is not taken as an object.

　　２．付加給付　　Added Grants
　　　　・財団が招集する際の交通費等は随時支給する。
　　　　　The transportation expenses shall be paid as accrued for the occasions regulated by the foundation.

　　３．給付期間　　Duration
　　　　各コース共に募集年度内の１年間とする。継続を希望する場合は再度申し込む必要がある。
　　　　給付資格者は継続者を優先して決定する。
　　　　The provision term of a scholarship is set as for one year. When desired to be continued,

　　　　it is necessary to apply again.
　　　　Qualification for Scholarship grant is given priority to a continuation candidate.

Ⅲ．募集人員　Number of Grantees

　　　平成21年度：全コース10名程度
　　　Undergraduate level : 10 in total for courses, in 2009.

Ⅳ．奨学金の支給停止　The provision stop of a scholarship

1) 修学又は研究の指導担当者から、修学又は研究の継続に不適格と認められた場合。
　　When a scholarship student is judged by an instructor that he is unsuitable in continuation of

　　study or research.
2) 病気その他の事由により、修学又は研究を継続する見込みのない場合。
　　In case of that there is no hope for the continuous study on account of sickness, or other reasons.
3) 学業成績不良、素行不良の場合。
　　In case of bad grades, bad behavior.
4) 理由なく長期にわたって欠席した場合。
　　In case of a long term absence from a lesson without good reason.
5) 前各号のほか奨学生として適当でない事実があったとき。
　　When an unsuitable fact for a scholarship student is revealed.

Ⅴ．応募方法　　How to apply

　　下記書類を作成して大学留学生担当課を通じて募集期間内に提出する。
　　The following documents shall be submitted through the foreign student division of a university within

　　a period of recruitment.

　　１．提出書類　Presentation Documents
　　　　1)　記載提出書類一式
　　　　　　　・願書一式 An application
　　　　2)　添付書類一式
　　　　　　a．写真（願書に貼付）A photograph (pasted on your application)
　　　　　　b．在学証明書又は入学許可証
　　　　　　　　A student registration certificate or an admission permit
　　　　　　c．学業成績証明書 A school-records certificate
　　　　　　　　来日して勉学中の者は現在所属している大学のもの、来年度から編入学する者は
　　　　　　　　出身国のものをもって替える。
　　　　　　　　The school-records table of the Japanese university for foreign student enrolled , and

　　　　　　　　the school-records table of a native country for new applicants admitted to enter next year.
　　　　　　d．学校長の推薦状　(在籍校、あるいは入学予定校)
　　　　　　　　A principal's letter of recommendation
　　　　　　e．健康診断書（６カ月以内のもの）
　　　　　　　　A medical examination document (less than six months)
　　　　　　f．日本語学習履歴、学習機関および取得レベル(新規応募者のみ For New Applicant)
　　　　　　　　Japanese language study background. Name of Institution & Level Achieved.
　　　　　　g．ブルガリア大使館推薦状 (ﾌﾞﾙｶﾞﾘｱ人新規応募のみFor Bulgaria New Applicant)
　　　　　　　　A letter of recommendation of the Republic of Bulgarian Embassy in Japan.

　　２．募集期間　Application period
　　　　平成２０年１０月１５日～１２月１５日
　　　　From the 15th of October through the 15th of December, 2008.
　　３．応募締切　Application Deadline
　　　　平成２０年１２月１５日　　15th of December, 2008.
　　４．奨学生決定　Selection Determination
　　　　平成２０年１２月下旬 (延期される場合もある。)
　　　　End of December 2008. ( It may be postponed.)

Ⅵ．選考　Selection

　　１．選考要領は次による Selection as follows
　　　　1)　書類選考　　提出された書類により選考を行う。 Selection by papers sent in.
　　　　2)　面接選考　（省略する場合も有る）　　Selection by interview (It may omit.)　
　　２．選考の結果は、応募者全員に書面により通知する。
　　　　The result shall be notified in mail to each applicant.
